It gives me immense pleasure to observe establishment of the Centre for Independence and Partition Studies by the University of Delhi under Ordinance-XX of the Ordinances of the University. This noble initiative is an endeavour to enlighten the youth whose aspirations for future must be rooted in a comprehensive and authentic understanding of our past.
