It gives me immense pleasure to observe establishment of the Centre for Independence and Partition Studies by the University of Delhi under Ordinance-XX of the Ordinances of the University. This noble initiative is an endeavour to enlighten the youth whose aspirations for future must be rooted in a comprehensive and authentic understanding of our past.
Read more..The foundation of the Centre for Independence and Partition Studies was laid under the visionary leadership of our esteemed Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi, Prof. Yogesh Singh. With a steadfast commitment to academic excellence and intellectual rigor, the honorable Vice-Chancellor provided an unwavering support and undiluted guidance, as perceived by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi while declaring August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day.
